If your looking for great Asian food in Milwaukee, this is the place to go to!! Love this place so much. They are extremely friendly and make delicious Malaysian food. They're great at making you feel at home. After 3 years in Milwaukee, I was so happy to find a Malaysia restaurant close by!

Delivery Review!
My girlfriend and I are constantly on the hunt for a good Chinese delivery place, and I really enjoyed Asian Papayoyo. We got the orange chicken, red bean buns, and vegetable fried rice and everything was fresh, not dry, and came in a very timely manner. We ordered through a third party and a few small items were in our order were wrong. If possible, I would call in for delivery and hopefully, that solves those issues.
Even with the few wrong items, the food was great and I can't wait to go eat in the restaurant to try the Malaysian food! -

Ordered lamb shank, red bean dumplings and Thai iced tea bubble tea. Lamb shank was perfectly cooked with meat falling from the bone. The accompanying sauce was pretty close to a mild Indian curry. Enjoyed every bite of it. Dumplings had smaller quantities of red bean filling than I expected. They were delicious nonetheless. And of course, Thai iced tea cannot go wrong, it was great!

This is my go to place to eat when im craving some General Tso's Tofu. First if all, the pricing is excellent and student affordable. Secondly, the environment makes me feel like I'm at home (in a good way) because of the hospitality given, especially considering I'm vegetarian. Third, the flavors are excellent. I have been here consistently and it never disappoints in all categories. Recommend the General Tso's tofu, Taro bubble tea, and the bean buns! All Amazing.

This was a absolutely great random discovery to me! I have been to Singapore and Malaysia, and many Malaysian restaurants in China, so I like Malaysian cuisine. I was beyond excited when I saw a Malaysian restaurant in Milwaukee and Laksa on the menu!!!
Chicken Laksa: 10/10. Authentic, so rich yet so fresh in flavor, and decent sized! The tofu absorbed the soup so they were very delicious. I don't like the chicken in my bowl - they used chicken breast thus it got no flavor at all. The reason that I didn't take off a point was that I just finished workout - chicken breast worked fine for me lol.
Beef and shrimp rice plate: Authentic flavor in the beef. The shrimp tasted like Korean Topokki for some reason. No complaint. My boyfriend liked it.
Roasted pork bun: hot and delicious fillings. I don't like the skin - thick and not fluffy.
Bubble milk tea: Okay. They didn't use fresh brewed tea and liquid milk, but the milk tea tasted not over sweet and it was thick in texture. Bubbles were okay.
Overall, we liked the clean environment and the couple who own this restaurant. Very very nice people! We will come back for sure, and try their bbq chicken on stick and lamb shank rice plate and of course, more Laksa!!!
